Baggy Pants

Occassionally I hear Paul Harvey on the radio. I'm always impressed he is still working because I remember hearing him on the radio when I was little. Well today he was talking about drooping baggy pants and the laws that are getting passed to ban them. The gang related fashion statement obviously rubs the older generation the wrong way thus the push for the anti-drooping-baggy-pants laws.

The police, on the other hand, are against the new law. It's not because it will make it harder to spot gang members by their fashion sense. It's not because enforcement of the law might be a problem. No, it turns out drooping baggy pants are the great equalizer that allow the cops to chase down and catch law breakers.
